I'm using a wireless Internet connection; and, currently use Majic Jack on my computer. The problem with it is people complain I'm cutting out and sometimes people on the other end are cutting out too. The computer has a 2.10 Gig processor and 448 megabytes of RAM. I'm thinking of upgrading my package with Time Warner to include a fast cable Internet connection whether it be RoadRunner or RoadRunner Lite...would these solve the phone problems? I don't want to spend the money with upgrading without knowing.

Thanks in advanced for any response.

You say you are using a "wireless" connection. What type?

Usually the problem you describe is a slow Internet connection. Go to a website that provides bandwidth tests (just search google for "bandwidth test" for a host of options) and report back what your upload and download speeds are. This will help us determine if your Internet connection is the problem.

These were the test results. Upload speed 59 kbps. Download speed 1411 kbps. Is it my Internet connection that's the problem?

That upload speed is a problem. According to the MagicJack website, your upload speed must be at a minimum 128kb/s: http://www.magicjack.com/7/faq/
