I just bought a used PC laptop to use at school, but cannot access Mozilla or Safari. It works fine at home, but not at school.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

cannot access Mozilla or Safari????

do you mean that you can't use either program to connect to the internet on the schools network...?

If you can use them at home and they both work fine then I would say that your school network is probably encrypted and you will need the code to access anything.

Another issue could be that you are trying to stealth the computer and schools and other places do not like people trying to hide who they are...that way they can keep an eye on you as well.

The third option could be that you were sold a computer that had previously been used to violate the terms of the schools network access and the computer ID has been blocked!
