hey i wanna recieve pop ups but cant because it freezes my computer when i do recieve any so how can i make it so i can recieve a pop up with it freezing both my internet explorer windows i have internet explorer 6.0 if it helps

My first thought is always to run scandisk & defrag. first.
If it just started it could be something you installed recently. Do a system restore to an earlier time when things worked right (you can undo this if needed).
Next, you could try start-programs-accessories-system tools-system information-tools-net diagnostics. May turn up something. If that doesn't do it- may try reinstalling IE 6.0.

Why in the world would you want pop ups? Do you have zone alarm pro or norton internet security? If so they will block pop ups and pop unders. Download Netscape it will have a lot of pop ups
