Can anyone tell me, when i click on a shortcut, why it replaces a window already open, rather than open a new one?? Sometimes it opens a new one, but 80% of the time it replaces an already open window, very frustrating!

Open InternetExplorer, click Tools above, click InternetOptions, click the Advanced tab, & uncheck 'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts'
