although I am able to log on to the internet, I receive error messages every time I start my computer:
This page cannot be displayed
try following.......etc
(at bottom of message) - cannot find server or DNS error

you might want to go to internet options in control panel and then to the connections tab....click on LAN settings and check if anything is written over there...u might have a firewall (ZoneAlarm) which might be preventing internet access
