I have the strangest problem with Internet Explorer. It won't load some pages/images. I'm not sure what it is, but maybe I'm missing a .dll? Any link with an asterik won't load (ie: http://rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/house/tax/story/*http://news.yahoo.com/taxes) and on pages like www.gamespot.com the images don't load. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have answered my own question. Here is what has happened for anybody suffering the same problems:

I had installed KazaaLite, and with that there is a file called HOSTS which you should put in your Windows/System32/Drivers/Etc folder. In that list is a bunch of sites that KazaaLite blocks. In that, there is one called images.com.com, which supplies the sites for gamespot and other pages. I deleted the whole file as a test, and everything seems to be working fine now! I hope this helps anybody with a similar problem.

Here is what Windows' deault hosts file looks like

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

That is correct...it's due to the HOSTS file.

Ok I deleted the HOST file, should I restore the default Microsoft HOST file? If so, how would I go about doing this?
