Have you tried CCleaner a freeware app that removes all unnessary files including the constantly growing index.dat file a hidden file that keeps a record of all your internet use! It also has a registry cleaner that clears out obsolete registry entries(always chose the option to backup the registry) ! Its very safe I have never had any problems after using this app ! Have you ever considered upgrading to a different web browser, Internet Explorer is the slowest and has the most security holes of any browser out there.

I have used Firefox on ocassions but i just prefer Internet Explorer for some reason. Is there much difference between the two?, speed and security wise. I might give Firefox another go and try to stick with for a while and get used to it. Cheers, Rob
