I have an internet explorer problem and I can't find what it is?the problem is that I click the internet explorer icon to open the browser right?, and the explorer window does not show until 15 to 20 seconds after I click on the explorer icon, I have open the task manager to see if internet explorer is in memory and as I clicked on the icon it appears on memory or in the taskmanager as 'iexplore.exe' but still the explorer window will not show until 15 to 20 seconds after I click on the icon!!!!! I have all the windows updates on my computer, I even have the sp1 update for internet explorer on my pc!!!! but the problem keeps on going I have a gateway computer with 256 sdram and 1.4 ghz processor and I would be glad to have some help on this issue please!!!!! wot size is your hard disk and how full is it if it is liek 80 gig and nearly fulll then your pc will be slowed down a bit
but if it aint big or nearly full a dont have a clue

Having SP1 installed is not necessarily a good thing...many have problems with it.When is the last time you defragged?Cleaned out temp and temporary internet files?A disk cleanup?Scanned for spyware?There's a lot more to a smooth running machine than just applying updates...
