Internet Explorer Problem

I am having trouble with my internet explorer loading. Everytime I click on the icon, it doesn't load and my computer freezes.

if the computer only has 127 meg of ram as posted, thats not enough to really run xp properly.
could be corrupt explorer.
have you run a system restore to an earlier date?
have you booted with the xp install disk, and run a repair on the xp??
