internet explorer loads too slow...

hello all,
there seems to be some problem with the internet explorer, when i click on the icon it takes around 10 seconds to load, earlier it took only a second or so, my system is fast so i guess there is some problem...
is there any way i can solve this (i dont want to reinstall the OS) i tried what is on http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378 did not help

First thing that comes to mind is spyware, get a spyware checker if you don't have one, you can always try doing a system rollback, if it worked right 3 days ago, and doesn't now, do a system rollback. Start - programs- accessories - system tools - system restore, its quite easy too do and yo don't loose anything, often i find that owrks, have fun
