Need help---suddenly when I click to on my internet explorer icon my home page flashes quickly on and off. I can not make any modifications to the IE settings in that the page does not stay on the screen long enough to make any corrections to Internet Options. I tried using system restore with no luck. I read some things on my other computer that I should download this or do this to my explorer but I can not do that because I can not get it to work. Can anyone give me a tip on how to fix it? Not sure how it happened---I made no computer adjustments----had another person using the computer over the weekend and not quite sure what they did to cause the problem thanks
yo heavie right click internet explorer icon and click properties to get in the options once u do that its probs a runnin process which is stopin it from openin a virus run malwarebytes in safe mode with no IE windows open install it then run the avg scanner from the site then dont open any windows http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
restart and in normal mode and run the scan again once u do that run IE and run an online scan from http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/ gl reply plz
Unfortunately when I right click on the Internet Explorer Icon I can not get the properties to appear---nothing appears? When I go to the control panel no Internet Options Icon appears? Help
Run the system file checker to repair internet explorer. Click on start then run and type in sfc /scannow. Note the space between the c and the /. This will repair and/or rreplace any corrupted system files.
