Hello,
i m having a problem with IE6. I used to have IE4, so i downloaded IE6 SP1 update. The thing is, i cant remove IE6, since it does not appear on add/remove list. I cant find the application anywhere on the computer. I researched Internet Explorer, IE6, etc.. I cant find it and i know it s there since I can launch it and surf the net. Does anyone have an idea of the name or location of that application. Thanks alot Melissa

too bad for the removal, but then what is the location of the application? It seems that not only we cant remove it, but we cant find it either. Melissa

Mellisa, If you're using Windows XP IE 6 is part of it and you can't remove it nor can you put IE4, IE5, IE5.01, or IE 5.5 on a XP system. You can Repair your IE 6 by following the instructions at the link below. Your IE 6 is located in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer but I don't recommend deleting any of those files.
