internet explorer cannot display

can get on IE with laptop wirelessly but not on desk top. Help,I am ready to put my foot thru the desktop.

Jaffa 94, stupid thought. Does desktop have wireless card? Possible firewall settings are too high (maybe that should be exception?)? Can you get there with anything at all?

Try to use ping to troubleshoot this network problem, think there is configuration problem.

If your getting that message, chances are your internet connection was lost.

The other option is that you have a virus blocking your connection or maybe your virus protection is the cause.
