Hello, all. I don't know if this would be more appropriate on the networking forum or not...
When I go to a website that I visit often in Internet Explorer 7, it doesn't refresh the website when it loads it. It just loads what the website was showing last time.
For example, lets say I type in www.computing.net, and it says I have 2 messages, I look at both of the messages, then type in a different website and go there for a while.
Now lets say a while later a want to go to computing.net again. I type in www.computing.net.
Now, when computing.net loads, it should say I have 0 Messages, since I looked at the two that I had. (Unless I got more messages, but lets say I didn't.) But no, it says I have 2 messages! I have to click refresh so it stays up-to-date.
I notice this in other websites I go to as well. They show what was on them the last time I went there, until I refresh/
Is this supposed to be normal? If it is I am literally downgrading to Internet Explorer 6. (Or 5, since they say 6 is full of bugs.) Does anyone else expirience this? Is there an update or a fix for it? Thanks in advance!

Check Internet Options > temporary internet files (browsing history) > settings...which option is selected under "check for newer versions of stored pages"?
