Hi, first, my specs.
Pentium 3 1GHz
512 MB Ram
100 GB's HD Space (60/40 - 2 drives)
Windows XP Pro
Internet Explorer 6.0 (maybe even greater, beta version perhaps, I can't remember if I downloaded it or not, heh.)Ok, here's the description of my problem.
Internet Explorer will open fine, but will only open ONE window. If a second window opens, or a pop-up window opens up, IE crashes. Also, if one IE window is open, and I open any program that uses IE in any fashion, IE will crash that program. For example, when I open up Grokster, because Grokster uses IE within its program, IE will crash, as well as Grokster crashing.
Also, if I have one IE window open and open MoodLogic, MoodLogic will crash, as well as IE. And now, I just found out that if I have IE open (or any program that uses IE), I cannot use Netscape 6, because then Netscape will crash! Please HELP!
Here is the error message:
AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: msctf.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.29 Offset: 0001593fCan anyone help me?
Please email me your replies, as well as posting on the site, I don't know if I will check the site for awhile. Thanks.
- Tim

Are you sure that your crashes are strictly confined to Internet Explorer activity? Is the rest of your system running fine - and has it been running fine for at least a week?
If so, then do two things.
1. Download the complete and final version of IE6, because that's how I got rid of my "beta weirdness" with IE.
2. After any subsequent reboots due to #1, go to the Windows Update site, and download all of the updates that are available. You might want to stay away from the 20 MB .NET download though - if you're a single end user on your machine.
That should take care of the problems.
