i have this problem and i STILL have not found a solution, they are all popups that have valid addresses and should come up, but yet, nothing happens, all that comes up when you click on the link is that a blank page comes up that says microsoft internet explorer, but, what does work is when i right click on the link, go to copy shortcut, and paste it on my desktop and click on it, it just goes to the site instead of opening up and whole new window and it works, but that is annoying also, i cant figure it out!!
have no popup stopper and i have run regsvr32 urlmon.dll several times but it doesnt work
if i hold shift and press the link

Dale,
I read this post a few seconds ago ..maybe it will work for you.
Alternate fix to repair Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x for Windows XP:
Note: Before proceeding, ensure that your Microsoft Windows XP CD-ROM is available.
From the Start menu, select Search, and choose Files or Folders.
Select the More Advanced Options item and ensure that there is a checkmark beside the Search hidden files and folder option.
In the Name field, type ie.inf
In the Look in drop-down menu, select C: or the letter of the hard drive that contains the Windows folder.
Choose the Search Now button. The correct ie.inf file should be located in the Windows\Inf folder.
Using the right-hand mouse button, select the ie.inf file and choose Install from the drop-down menu that appears.
Restart the computer when the computer finishes copying files.

Hi Dale,
Try this link http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers2.htm#blank_windows
I know you said you've done the "run regsvr32 urlmon.dll" thing, but here they give you some more run commands that fixed it for me.
Hope this helps
