When I click on a link in an email, it doesn't automatically connect to the internet. How do I fix this?

Hi shirley, what browser are you using and also what type of email account (gmail, hotmail etc)?

I'm sure there are settings in either the browser or email account that automatically block email links as a security precaution but I can't remember off hand.

Thanks for your help. I'm using Google, Windows XP and Outlook. I had switched to another browser to be able to download clip art more easily and the problem began after that. So, I'm sure you are right. But I'm not very computer literate outside of my design programs! Thanks again.
