After an random time (from 5min to 2day) my internet connection just suddenly stop working for no reason. The strange thing is that every connection who were already open stay ok but I can't open more, for exemple a download will continu but I wouldn't be able to go on a new website. Or with msn the people I was talking to (windows already open) I can continu to talk to them but I can't start talking to someone else (msn might just freeze) and the other see me offline...
Anyway, at first the problem started when I was on a lan (2 computers) connected with a HUB.. I tought it was something with the ISP not supporting them (perharps a router would work I tought) but now I moved with my computer it is now on another ISP with another modem another network card with no hub and I still get this problem!!! It could be a virus but Norton 2004 updated today don't detect anything.. and don't worry the drivers of all my components are all intalled at their latest versions... the other computer with the same problem is a P300mhz or somethign like that and I have a P4-3ghz.. and not installed / configured / used by the same person so it's not an error of bad installation...
I disabled system restore but it would be too old to work anyway.. and I would like not having to format or something... if it's a virus I would get it again from the "hub" network in a few days lol...

forgot to say that it need rebooting for the connection to work again.. and sometimes 2-3 times before it restart :/

Check the Internet Options to make sure the OLD ISP is deleted. If it is still list; it may be set as the default ISP and your system is getting confused. Make sure that the OLD ISP is removed from every location on your unit. Look in the IE Options too.
Also you may want to take a paper-clip and stick it into the small hole on the back of your modem. This will reset everything in there back to factory defaults. Hold it in there for at least 20 seconds.

I removed all option ISP... (cleaned up before configurating the other)... and it's not a modem problem since it was doing it with both (adsl and cable)...
