For some reason every time i try to visit ANY web page it doesn't display the first time and i have to reload it 2-3 times before it shows up. Heres what I've tried to fix the problem:
Originally my westell wirespeed modem model b90-220030 from bellsouth fastaccess dsl® modem was connected to my linksys® wireless-b router. Everything was working fine till a few hours ago.
I started off by rebooting both my modem and router by unplugging them and waiting a min then plugging them back in. The problem was still happening.
Next i tryed removing Comodo Free Firewall which i had installed shortly after i reformatted which was about yesterday. (I didn't format because of this problem. This internet problem just started to happen recently.)
Still nothing.
Then i tried directly connecting my modem to my comp.
Still nothing.
Every time i disconnected i always did an ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew. Everything seemed fine but the problem still persisted.
Then i tried my backup dial up connection and everything works fine even better then the dsl! i don't get it.. is the fastaccess dsl modem giving up the ghost?
I've also tried booting to Ubuntu 6.06 and it still did the same crap. what can be causing this to happen?

does the computer have onboard ethernet??
if so,
install a pci ethernet card and install.
should fix it
