Name: RUBAN
I have wireless router and card it shows connected but I can not go internet.
On task bar signel stenth bar is fully green, wireless connection icon is shows connected but no internet connection also I checked the fire wall that is ok.What is the problem.
Router is TP-LINK.

What things show may be only the connection to the wireless router. What is router connected to ????
What XP Service Packs do you have.??? More Updates means more Security against the Internet.

Open a command prompt and type in
ipconfig /allLook, whether your network card has an IP address other than 169.254.x.x
It should normally have an IP address like:
192.168.x.xPlease send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!
