Accessing a certain website now impossible.
Type in www.?????????.co.uk (fictitous)I get
a message on my screen saying downloading , then cant access internet site + virtual memory is low message on taskbar. I can access the website okay from my desktop. Tried adjusting virtual memory settings but makes no difference. Can't understand why desktop pc can access site but laptop can't. any ideas ??? Tried system restore and that does no good.

You said that you have adjusted the virtual memory !!! To what settings ???

128 meg of ram is not a whole lot for XP in fact that is the bare minimum required just to run the os with no other programs started...How many other programs start with windows ???

for 128 your virtual memory should be 192 Min 384 Maximum..

Check your C drive space !!! how much C drive do you have available ???
