Internal Outlook Error when sending

We've run into a peculiar error when sending a message to distribution lists in Outlook. We have 8 lists. The email goes out just fine for 6 of the groups, but for 2 of the 8, we get an error that states "an internal support function returned an error."
We've checked the lists. There are not duplicate or incorrect addresses. There are about 40-45 addresses in each list.
There is nothing about this in MS Support except a mention of duplicate addresses.
Has anyone come across this and have a suggestoin/solution.
