This just started happening a few days agao after I uninstalled Zonealarm and installed Sygate instead.
The connection works fine for an hour or more but suddenly the connection is dropped.
I try repair connection but it can't connect to the router anymore. So, I turned off the firewall and then tried reconnecting and it works fine.
So, something in Sygate must be causing this.
The strange thing is it's not a permanent block...what would cause it to be dropped intermittently? Restarting the computer also seems to help.
Are there any particular files that scan the connection like svchost?

Any ideas?
Which programs are needed by Windows to run wireless then I can unblock them although Sygate usually recognizes which programs are asking for internet access...
