I have the old Intel webcam deluxe model cs330. On Win98 it worked fine, but on XP, the new Twain interface doesn't let you capture high res photos. I remember being able to get at least 320x240 pics on 98, and sometimes 640x480 depending on the application using it. But on XP, it gives you a small sorry little twain interface with a very small resolution capture. Any suggestions on ways to get higher res pics? I know the camera will do it; that's not the problem, I can easily capture pics from messenger webcams and copy them to my photoshop apps. I'd just like a better twain. I appreciate any help you can give me! God Bless...

What software were you using to capture the pictures on windows 98? Is the software for that cam xp compatible? One of my cams isnt xp compatible but I can run the program compatiblity wizard and install it under 98 compatiblity and it works fine then. Might help you to install your software thru the program compatibilty program also. Just a thought.
