Intel PRO/DSL 3200 XP migration problem

Has anyone else had problems using the migration utility for Intel's 3200 pro/dsl modem to Windows XP?
Everytime I run the migration utility, it crashes my machine after the MS certification querry.
So far, Qwest's website is the only place I've been able to find this utility...is there a newer, more current Intel PRO/DSL 3200 modem driver for Win XP?
Thanks...any help would be greatly appreciated (the fine people at Qwest have no idea what the problem is).

Yep..that's the one that crashes my system when I run it. I was hoping there was a different utility on another website or something. The download3200.exe utility on Qwest's site bombs during the installation.
I'm doing everything I can to avoid a clean install, since I have large files on the HD that I can't backup (no ext./portable large capacity drive).

Tried that too. No dice.
I just did a full install and that didn't work either. The darn thing still crashes and I've downloaded it several times.
Has ANYBODY run the download3200.exe utility on Qwest's site with any success? Is there anyone else that has the PRO/DSL 3200 modem AND has it working on Win XP? I'm thinking the utility is written with bad script...or that XP is dumping it because of a MS certification issue.

I am in the midst of this nastiness myself. And Qwest, despite hours sent on the phone with technical support, tonight basically told me that it's my problem!
