I also had another question. Which is better? A Intel® Pentium®M Processor 725(1.60A GHz/400MHz FSB) or a Mobile Pentium® 4 Processor 538 w/HT Technology (3.20GHz, 533MHz FSB). Also what is the difference as far as performance?

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him to use the Net and he won't bother you for weeks.

Well the Pentium 4 has much more speed(3.2Ghz
compared to 1.60). However, I think mobile Pentium 4's
are designed to work better with laptops for wireless
things. If you want speed so you can download music, surf
the web, chat, and listen to music at the same time, I'd go
with the Pentium 4 3.2GHz. But if you travel alot and you
need to connect wirelessly and you only do simple things
such as word processing, mail, and surfing the web, I'd
say save some money and go with the Mobile processor at
a slower speed.

Well, for me I recommend Pentium M due to lower usage of battery power and hence when travel around with battery, it will last longer!

I believe, by M Processor you should multiply with factor 1.7.
So if your M Processor has 1.6 GHz it is comparable to Pentium 4 2.7 GHz.

For PC I would prefer P4 (because it is cheaper). For laptop I would use Pentium M (because its lower battery consumption and much lower heat)
