Whenever the computer starts up an error message comes up "CI Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close." I looked at the event viewer and found that the file is an Intel program, cimgr.exe and was located in C:\Program Files\Intel\LDCM\CI\CIMGR. Does anybody know what this program is and how to fix the problem. Thanks.

Might try starting a new post and tell us WHEN that message crops up. Also give us the Event ID number.

You might just need to install an updated chipset utility. Try looking on Intel's website for your processor or motherboard...
