When I run my xp disc on an other 98 system, trying to install it, it says it can't load the file: $WIN_NT$. BT/vga850.fon. error nš 14. Besides it is a home edition, and it keeps on giving me the option of dowloading the pro eddition. Please help!

Is it at WIN98 that you try this? If it is are you using the upgrade?
The uograde is better.
Or
Is the WInXP cd bootable and want to do a fresh install? Insert the Cd at boot.
or
Make sure the Win98 is on the correct partition if you partitioned it.

It is supposed to be an XP home edition, but while installing it doesn't give me the option for home edition, only for Proffessional Edition. Of course when i select that it doesn't work. Because its a home edition disc! Why?
