Installing XP Media Center Edition

Hi,

Does anyone know how to install XP Media Center Edition from scratch. It will not let me boot from CD as it says Cannot boot from CD ROM for this specific disc. It will not even let me install from I386 folder using WINNT.exe under DOS. ANy help will be appreciated.

My understanding is that you cannot use this as a stand alone product.

You must have a machine specifically designed and set up for it to work.

You need Windows XP already installed for this to work. This is basically a set of utilities for Windows XP, not a stand alone opperating system.

It only works on Media Center PCs. Again, you cannot ADD IT ON.
