How can you clean install, and only install XP With the 7 recovery disc from HP without loading all that other junk that you don't need. Can it be done. Thanks for our help!

No. HP Recovery CDs will only bring you back to the original factory state when purchased. This is one of the the hazards of buying a brand name PC.

Let me rephrase what I meant. You cannot do what you're hoping to do with the recovery cds.
