Installing windows XP though network or flash

Specs: Windows XP Pro
I have Pacard Bell laptop that has NO cd Rom or stiffy drive. It was infested with viruses, and apon cleaning, windows was destroyd. I am in desperate need of this laptop, as it contains very important work data. Iv noticed that i can boot off the network, or even a USB device. is there a way I can load the windows cd onto a flash to boot off (I tryd just copying it on, but it didnt work)? HOW? Also, how does one perform an installation through the network. i have a desktop PC that i can use...

Yes you can boot the computer with a pen drive, but before that you will have to make it bootable and then copy the image file or the installation files of windows, which will allow you ti install the windows the normal way.
