Installing Win 3.11 on Virtual PC

I am trying to install Windows 3.11 onto the Virtual PC Program except when it asks for the installation path, it says it cannot insstall to that path, the default it uses is C:\WINDOWS and i have tried changing it but still nothing. Does aynone know the path I should use?

The VPC is just like another computer. The C: drive on it is a virtual drive unless you did other stuff. If the install is not working then I would suspect either some VPC setting wrong or maybe a damaged Win311 floppy or cd? I'd look to the virtual hard drive first. Don't use an expanding type. Make a hard drive first with a set size??? Hope that helps. I have vpc but not 311 so I can't test that. Seems like the box claims full native support.
