Hi All,
I have got a basic .bat file here for installing shared printers on local PCs. I just want to know how to make a particular printer a "default printer". Is there any way to do this please? Thanks for your help.

Learner Online, strikes me that you can look at installed printers to see the printer specs and then make sure your .bat file calls the correct one? HTH. Ed in Texas.

As with almost all microsoft wizards there is a way to do it from command line. I don't know that way. I'd suspect a reg edit would do the trick. Search technet and maybe a developers forum.
