Installing program on all users
A friend has three users on his XP machine and I have never had anyone but myself on mine so....how do I install a program on all users at one time?

if you're talking about XP Pro, you'll need to install it using a logon account with local admin. privileges. All users should have access to the program after that.

I think it may also work, after installed, by moving the EXE shortcut icon to
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs

Things get a little bit more complicated if you are installing an application that was specifically written for Windows XP, on a computer that has several users set up, because you can then choose to install the program for everybody’s use, or restrict it to your own. This isn’t worth worrying too much about now; in most cases you’ll want everyone to have access to everything, and you won’t go far wrong by simply accepting the default settings.
