can we install multiple hal in same pc like xp with mps multiprocessor pc and 7 with acpi hal
What would you hope to achieve by doing that. The HAL ( Hardware Abstraction Layer) is the link between the hardware and the OS. There is nothing to be achieved by having two as they will both be the same. If they were different, one of them would be useless.
