Hi,
I have windows XP professional on my computer, and i wanted to install red hat linux 7.0 on adifferent partition.
I have an 80GB hd, I have 3 partitions with NTFS (one(40gb) for the system, and 2(10gb each) for backup), and 20GB of unpartitioned space where I want to install linux 7.0.
So I booted with the linux CD, and started the install process (custom install), but when I get to create the partitions for linux, I create the root partition (went ok), then the boot partition (went ok), and then the swap partition, and I get an error message:
"No free primary"
And it can't allocate the partition. The same happens when I create the usr partition, it canīt allocate the root partition and sends me the same message: "No free primary"
???
Could some one please help me here???
thanks in advance...jluis

:-(
sorry, it was because my internet connection was lost when I sent it the first time, and I thought it wasn't sent, because I didn't receive a confirmation message.thanks for the note, and sorry again.
jluis
