I resently up graded from 98se to XP Pro (clean install) which means i have to reload my modem (USRobotics faxmodem ) and up grade my driver to XP. I downloaded the XP upgrade driver from USRobotics "Drv-612.zip XP Driver for modem".
I unziped the folder and was presented with the following-

Text DocBecause it's not a self exctrating file or a file with a .exe extention, i'm clear what i suppose to do next with these files or how or were to put them?. I did open some of the files and all they have what looks like data and no info on how to install them.

All I found in that lot was for windows 98 and not XP
I would look for another driver for the phone modem!
