when i try to install dotnetfx.exe i get a error message that says "error creating process <c:\docume~1\user\locals~1\temp\ixp000.tmp\install.exe>. Reason: access is denied." can anyone tell me why???? dotnetfx.exe if a msoft program/system. it installed fine on another computer running win 98 special ed. But i cant get it to install on my win xp computer. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. haku

Is your comp password protected or using admin rights?

i removed the password from the computer and made user#2 the admin. i still get the same error message....... any more help????? thanks haku

Is that program (or whtever it is, some kind of trojan or whatever) compatible with XP. I've never heard of it, but it sounds like something I would definitely AVOID! You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users
