|No yaar unfortunately I just deleted restore files by clean disk . Actually I solved my problem of chief architect installation in a very unconventional manner . I started installation and when it reached almost 99.9% i.e point from where rollback starts I switched off my computer, when I restarted my folder c://program files/chief/chief had almost all the files and then I patched it with GRB chief.exe file and now it is working .But the problem of program closing after around 80 clicks with the message " error: security system bypassed or malfunctioning , exit system immediately , do not save any file remains". Although before closing file on which I am working is saved but still it is irritating. And this was the reason I had updated from http://www.demonoid.com/files/detai... now I don't dare do again. |
This guy who gave this update also mentioned following
(GRB left a check behind in both their cracks. There is a variable that is incremented
with each mouse click made. After 80 clicks, the program would close with the error:
"SYSTEM SECURITY BYPASSED OR MALFUNCTIONING. EXIT SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT SAVE ANY
FILES." system error.
This crack has been based on GRB's crack but with one minor change. The code "inc ax"
(which is what increments the click counter) was changed to "90 90", or "no-op no-op",
to keep the same binary size. Basically, the click counter is frozen at the default
vaule. I tried this out by making as many clicks as I could for 30 minutes straight and
there were no errors due to a frozen click counter. I do not know if the click counter
is used for anything else but the copy protection. Why you would need a click counter
for anything else, I dunno, so I think this is a safe hack.) . If you know anything about changing this code "inc ax" please tell me or if you know any safe link for update and patch so that this irritating problem gets solved.
