installed SP3, PC keeps restarting

I just installed SP3 for XP pro with SP2. Now the PC boots to the XP loading screen, then restarts over and over. What is going on???

You have an AMD computer. A file that is not to load is caused to load on first reboot of SP3. This also happened in SP2 but a fix was created and stopped the error from happening...until SP3 came along.
boot up and go into start page by toggleing the F8 key as soon as it starts and until you get the page.. Choose safe mode with networking and go to
and scroll down to find the download for the fix. Download and install the fix.
reboot and it should boot properly.

I used Winternals ERD Commander to boot into it's version of XP. Then I used system restore to bring it back before SP3. Then I rebooted and XP was fine somehow working with SP3. Then I used Microsofts fix and all is well for now.
