Second new post in only a few days but I am having several problems at once so, bear with me.
OK...I did a clean install of XP Pro on a brand new HDD, then I update with SP2 from Microsoft. I tried to hookup some USB devices but nothing worked. There are NO USB drivers in the device manager. I have some unknown devices with question marks but they are for a video card - (which is odd in and of itself as I found four entries in device manager for the one graphic card I have installed - I'm still thinking about how to fix that problem). Now, back to the USB problem. Is there a way to just reinstall USB drivers from the SP2 disc? Or...is there another way to address this problem.
Thanks for the help...

Fuerza, SWAG, when you did the original SP1 install, the drivers got installed, but they weren't part of SP2? Perhaps you simply need to get/install the drivers?

Good suggestion. I did already think of that and went searching on the net for those drivers. Even went to Microsoft's website. I read lots of support pages, but in traditional fashion, Microsoft couldn't simply post a link for the USB drivers. I also thought about using (and did try) the install disc, but again, I didn't not see just the USB drivers to install. It seems like the install disc for SP2 is an all of nothing deal where you can't pick and choose what needs installed.

If someone could tell me what files I should have installed so I can indeed confirm that the USB drivers are already installed. If not, could someone tell me how to install JUST the USB drivers from the install CD. I didn't see any option to install very specific components from the splash screen upon inserting the CD.
