Installation date and time of software

Specs: Windows XP
How I can know "date and time of installation of any software". Whether this information can be found in registry.

My guess is to right click the Program Shortcut,
then click Properties,
then click General tab.

The date Created appears to be the answer.

IS there any other way to know date and time. because

This date can be modified by any tech savvy person.

It would also be well hidden in the registry so that software makers can set you up with Trial software based on the date of installation.

If you were to install using something like InControl5 it would record keys that had changes made to them during the installation.
