Hi all, hopefully someone will know how to remedy this as its driving me around the bend!

When Windows loads I'm prompted for the XP PRo disk to be entered so that some files necessary to complete an install can be retrieved. However I use XP Home edition and thus cannot comply, and am forced to cancel. I'm not even sure what the install is, it started to happen after I used Windows Xp Update a week or so ago.

Whenever I try and install Microsoft Visual Studio, the installation aborts & a message box appears stating that the install cannot proceed as there is another installation still in progress.

How can I clear this?? I sorely need to have this fixed as soon as possible as I have a *huge* amount of work to do on VB.Net and I can't begin until this quandry is solved!

HELP!
