I can't install XP on my computer, i have a problem with the HD controller UDMA66.

My config
ABIT BE6, PIII500

if you're writing about controller card, it won't work. there IS a brand that IS compatible, BUT i do not remember right now.

i had the same problem (be6 too)
there is only one solution -- connect the hard-disk to IDE ...

Go to the Highpoint technology site and download the HPT366 driver for W2K. Extract the driver to a disk. You will need this disk when you run the XP install.
