Comment:
When installing a game I am getting this error message...
"unable to create a directory under .Please check write access to this directory"
That was word-for-word. There is no directory called out. A space after "under" then a period before "Please".
I just did a reformat and reinstall... so I only have default settings... no special admin settings.

I apologize, I didn't think of it being a "game-specific" error...
"The Holy Grail" is the game.

Is a valid folder name showing in the window for the install location? Try entering it manually.

No... there is no path... no folder location... nothing showing.
In the error, it only says this...
"unable to create a directory under .Please check write access to this directory"
In my searching online, before asking here, I see that there is usually a path after the word "under"... with this type of error.
I thought about adding the folder myself... but wouldnt know what it is looking for.

Put in a location where you want the game installed. For example: c:\program files\gamename
