Install windows xp on 32 mb ram

Hi folks How can i install windows xp on 32 mb ram? I dont mind slow preformance i just want to do it for fun Without upgrading the ram. any patches etc. any advice appreciated

BTW, even if you do get it to work, "slow performance" doesn't begin to describe what you'll have...it will be downright painful

If you want to practice loading & configuring WXP then go buy an old PC desktop with 128/256mb of - even this is slow enuff but with what you have you'll be VERY old before u have loaded the OS and probably dead before the first application (Notepad) is loaded.

After you install it with 64MB, you can take out 32MB and it will run. I agree with the keyword downright painful

hi, if you use a program called nlite you can remove the check for the ram! it work well, i used xp on 32mb ram and on an server, you can also do it to server 2003.

When you choose to install XP you can do an Advanced Install and choose the programs you want to install instead of installing every single program with XP.
