Ok I bought an Lexmark X1185 was brand new but no software came with it. Gave It as Xmas gift to a friend. I can find driver for It from Lexmark no problem. But how can I get software? Now I have a Lexmark P3150 but have been moving and my software Is still packed up at old place will be a week or two till I am able to get to It. Is there a way to copy It off my machine (on a disk or ect) the copy on their machine. If so just how do I do it and what must be copied? Thank you all.

Not sure what you mean by the designation of Software versus Driver. The Driver file contains software for the printer and scanner. What else are you looking for?
Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

Sorry. But maybe It would be the program itself. Where It has the all in one center, photo editor and ect. Hope that helps. Thank for you reply.

If it was brand-new then it should have at least an Instruction Leaflet\Manual and presumably a CD with the Drivers\SoftwareCall the place you bought it from??

As I said there was nothing with It. Bought from an individual who had it but never used It. Lost or miss placed Manual /CD that came with it. Even though box was opened you could see printer most likely was never removed. They just took out CD and lost it. Thanks for your help.

Basically the only thing you can do is contact Lexmark & request replacement Manual & installation CD.

Thank You I will do that then. I do have a copy for mine will just take me awhile to get to It. Thanks allot you guys are great.

Seems to me you might be on the wrong track---I went to the Lexmark site, and the "driver software" is TWENTY FOUR MEGABITES.
I looked up the one for Winhozed2000 and this quote:""Lexmark X1100 Series All-In-One Driver for Microsoft Windows 2000. This download only includes the printer and scanner software.""
