Only if you install it to that drive letter on every machine you use. Although I doubt the EULA allows for that.

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Not going to work. There are files that install to the OS on the host computer. Things like dlls and such.
Get a laptop.

It can be done but as Jennifer says it is against your agreement.

Consider using either openoffice either a full install or the portable edition at http://portableapps.com/

Both provide a way to do 90% of what you do with your current suite.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

yes you can!! it is in fact against the EULA.. and because of that I do not recommend you do it. But if you created a disc image on the portable drive, and installed a portable virtual drive emulator - such and daemon tools, you could run it on any computer... BUT IT IS STILL AGAINST YOUR EULA

No, you can't.
I mean technically if you registered all the dll's and made additions to the registory then it might work but i've never tryed.
I don't see how a drive emulator would help this person out at all?
Are you saying that something like deamon tools will not only image the office11 folder but take account all the dll's in there and regsvr32 all of them? Will it after that add all the needed keys to the registory?
Just get something like open office or atlantice, not only would this aproach be legal but it would be free as was said above.

BEN.

I know this, if a person came to my office with an external harddrive and wanted to plug it to one of my computers I would say no. Laptops have been available for years and that is the reason for them.

I was implying that by making a disc image, he was making a disc image of the original Corporate Edition Office disk.

This would not constitute piracy because you are allowed one copy, however its against the EULA for a number of other reasons.

To copy all the .dll's and registry keys would be not worth the time and effort. Get OpenOffice.
