I'm installing Win XP media center for the first time on a brand new notebook. I was told to partition the HD and install OS on separate partition. Do I format on both FAT & NTFS formats? and what sizes is best to format 100 HD?

I would go for 3 partitions, 30gb,30gb & 40gb. I would also format the 2, 30 gigabytes in Ntfs and the last one in fat32. I would install Windows on the first 30gb with ntfs.
You probably would like to hear what other thinks about it too, but if i had to install i would do it like this !

Thanks, Now I'm loading WinXP Media Center edition 2005 and it's asking for the disk with SP2 but my disk is "Media Center 2005 updates" (3rd disk) and it doesn't seem to be the disk it's asking for so I'm stuck again.
