hi,
i know the usual way to install microsoft update is to go to the website and install the active x but i'm just wondering is there an alternative? Basically i want to set a load of PCs to get automatic updates using microsoft updates without having to log on to each one and visit the website???

shuck13000, do all the machines visit a 'webmaster' machine for network updates? Possible the M$ update could be put on there and promulgated? HTH. Ed in Texas.
